About
the Author
Ms. McEvoy earned
her undergraduate degree in Environmental Health Science from
the University of Georgia in Athens Georgia. Ms. McEvoy is a Graduate
Research Assistant working on her Masters in Forest Soils under
the direction of Professor Larry Morris.
Prior to beginning
her Masters program, she worked in several natural resource
positions . She was a resource management assistant for the
North Cascades National Park assessing stream habitat and bank
stability and conducting various base line studies on amphibian
and terrestrial arthropod populations. She also worked at the
Environmental Protection Division enforcing erosion prevention
and sedimentation control as well as conducting water quality
investigations. As an undergraduate, she assisted with an insect
natural history study on Barro Colorado Island, Panama.
